Governing council

Our school is guided by a governing council, which works with the Principal to set and monitor the school’s vision and direction.

The council meets on Wednesdays at 9.00am during weeks 3 and 7 of each term.

The council is responsible for:

  • developing and approving local policies
  • approving and reviewing the school budget
  • monitoring and reviewing the site improvement plan
  • reviewing employment contracts
  • consulting with the school community to make sure their views are heard.

The following committees report to the governing council: 

  • Finance Advisory Committee
  • Education Committee
  • OSHC (Out of School Hours Care) Committee
  • Canteen Committee
  • Parents and Friends Committee
  • Old Scholars Committee

Join our governing council

Parents, students, community members and staff are welcome to join the governing council or sub-committees. Elections are held each October. You can make nominations at the Annual General Meeting or pick up a nomination form from the front office.
